The Hillman Imp, my first car, I had my UK drivers licence at the age of 17, the next thing was to buy a Mk1 Imp. I now realise that with my fifty (50) years of Imp experience, I may have some past tips on the Imp to pass on? Since then there have been many other cars and things with motors in them that have come my way, this blog is about some of them. Bob Kelsey,his Hillman Imp in the Killarney Circuit pits

This picture is as classic as it goes,dated around 1966,Bobs championship winning Imp is in the rear of the pits garage.

I never got to meet Bob,by 1972 I had built my own racer and I was using the same pits and Imp 75F in the Argus Championship.

The picture was taken and supplied by a WPMC forum member,he was about six at the time He and his elder brother shared a Kodak box camera at the time,no name was given.
