Imp engine stuff

Its all been seen before but maybe there is some detail you need to see and know about?


A 998cc block with some updates to the head bolt sockets.



Inside a 998cc Hillman Imp engine, not your normal view, this was a great way to test the head joints for water leaks on a static test.



Close up and inside the bore, the valves are on a series 108 sport cylinder head.



With the crank fitted, pistons and rods were next.
