The Hillman Imp, my first car, I had my UK drivers licence at the age of 17, the next thing was to buy a Mk1 Imp. I now realise that with my fifty (50) years of Imp experience, I may have some past tips on the Imp to pass on? Imps have style built in

The rear lamp clusters on the Mark 1 and 2 Imps were made by Lucas, the Amber indicator cover is part number L691 and the Red rear side and stop lamp cover, part number L692, they fit to a stainless base and are really fine quality.

Rootes Scotland were not alone in using this type of lamp fitting, other makers who did the same were TVR, Jensen, Lotus and Aston Martin, were there others?
