The Hillman Imp, my first car, I had my UK drivers licence at the age of 17, the next thing was to buy a Mk1 Imp. I now realise that with my fifty (50) years of Imp experience, I may have some past tips on the Imp to pass on? Singer Chamois at the Bokke & Blomme factory

We restored the 1967 Singer Chamois about 18 years back, for 13 years it was Jeans everyday car, it then went through a stage of little use but I did fit a new rebuilt motor about five years back.

That engine is now run in very nicely, the car uses no oil, has around 4 bars of oil pressure, thats 55 pounds plus and needs no coolant top ups either. The car is now driven every other day and is a crowd puller where ever it goes.
