The Hillman Imp, my first car, I had my UK drivers licence at the age of 17, the next thing was to buy a Mk1 Imp. I now realise that with my fifty (50) years of Imp experience, I may have some past tips on the Imp to pass on? Colin meets a fellow Imper

This shot was taken by myself around 1969 or so, the place is somewhere around the far hill outside Cape Town, the event was myself and Colin Hancock meeting a fellow Imp driver from Pretoria.

You may just be able to make out the TP on the cars number plate, TP stands for Pretoria, 1000 miles away give a few either way.
