Fred is the well known publisher of one of South Africas top motor magazines, Classic Car & Performance Africa, well worth a read and cheaper if you subscribe!

Built by Ron Hand and used in sprint hillclimb events. First known event was at Weston 6 Oct 1984, prior to which Hand had raced a Chrysler Stiletto Special Saloon.
Sold in 2008 by Hand to Steve Humble for Fred Phillips (Cape Town, ZA). Raced by Phillips in South Africa in 2009 and 2010 in Lucky Strike colours. Sold to Barry Scott (Johannesburg, South Africa) January 2011.
Note the Imp connection here:

The Sunbeam Stiletto is an Imp Based car made by Chrysler ( Rootes) or was this an other car? Info please!
