A fellow forum member and myself have decided to be at Killarney around 8am in the morning (saturday). For myself its a very De ja Vue thing,I was there also in 1972 and took second place in Argus car number 75F.The cup below was the prize.
It would be great to meet with forum members, who you are and were to find you is a mystery,I will start at the Datsun pits I think.I will wear a red jacket,if its not too warm.
This was the car, based on a Mk1 hillman Imp,I even used the original curly edged engine block, what I had was all I had. Bremco Engineering in Paarden Eiland did the machine work. All Weld in Woodstock did the welding and we did quite a bit of that to enable larger inlet ports on the Mk1 cylinder head.
An Eric Wells and very rare picture of me racing my Mk1 Imp.
