The Hillman imp a very large small car

It certainally was for its time,I was really keen keen on an 850cc Mini,it was green with a white roof,looked like a Mini Copper but it was not. Then I saw a brand new yellow Hillman Imp,it had a black interior and looked really top class.

I bought my first car when I was seventeen,it cost 425 pounds,thats 25 pounds more than the Mini 850 i wanted before seeing the yellow Imp. To place that into perspective my wages were around 17.50 pounds a week back then.
