The Meissener Ford Escort

When I arrived here back in 1968 my love of things motorsport moved from the Aintree and Oulten Park circuits to the one near Cape Town named Killarney. Right away it was clear to see that some cars were world class, one was Peter Goughs Ford Escort.

Painted in blue and white, this cas was seriously fast, today I note there are a number of replicas around now.
