There is little point in just refitting parts unless we know they will work, in the case of the race Imp the Lucas wiper motor was next in line for refitting.
This is a simple test, using the original 1966 Singer Chamois Sport wire harness and with the cover plate off so I could see what was moving inside the motor, when the connection was made to that small 12volt battery it was good to see we had a working motor. This of course tested the harness as well
Talking point, the 1967 Singer Chamois has the wiper and lights switches reversed from the 1966 Singer Chamois Sport!
