This is the engine lid that fits the Rootes Scotland Sport engined cars, they were the Sunbeams and the Singer Chamois Sports, this car engine lid being the Chamois.

The panel was very different to the standard Hillman Imps, note the louvres and also the number plate mounts, they displayed a square plate and not the normal long one. There are also three number plate lights under the light cover.
Thought to be the only one in South Africa and its soon to leave for Scotland.

Note the number plate mount brackets, the standard Imp has the plate face mounted on the closed rear pael, with the ventilated panel they needed to allow air movement.
