Roys Hillman Imp years

The Hillman Imp, my first car, I had my UK drivers licence at the age of 17, the next thing was to buy a Mk1 Imp. I now realise that with my fifty (50) years of Imp experience, I may have some past tips on the Imp to pass on? Since then there have been many other cars and things with motors in them that have come my way, this blog is about some of them. That yellow Imp

This was a frost bite camping meet,it was local maybe Aughton or Skemersdale,Merseyside. Not Wales, we did a winter weekend camp at Loggerheads there,normally freezing if no snow.

Was this the same yellow Imp that decided me to also buy one,I guess so,not many Imps around right then? It has 1966 plates,the lady standing next to the 1965 Triumph 2000 is my mother.The owner and driver of the Triumph is Stan Mercer,his elder daughter sits next to him,his wife in the back seat and the daughters boy friend in the back next to the mother.
